    Are you going to box the back half of the frame, or leave it as is? I understand the ladder bars add lots of rigidity, but boxing it from the cab back could be beneficial (even if you were to just go from cab to aft of gas tank)

    The plan is to gusset the receiver to the rectangular tube. I don't think it's necessary to tie it all the way back to the cross member.

    I had the box on and off the truck about 20 times today. After hoisting it up onto the truck the first time I quickly realized that I needed a better plan. Fortunately the shops forklift was right behind me. :D

    The box isn't perfect, so I have a few spots that are off here and there, but it should bolt down just fine. I just have to get my drilled holes in the right spots.

    I don't think it's necessary. I may be wrong, but I'll try it like this and see how it goes. Things can always be cut off and done again.

    I woulda linked the rear while I was down there and had access to all that equipment you are using ... Flex for daaaaays. Then again you would need a fuel cell or relocate the existing gas tank to the other side .. Whole 'nother can of worms. Like the progress so far though

    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    Just 3 link with a Panhard bar. Would miss the gas tank and still flex for days.

    It's amazing what a coat of rusty red primer does for projects.

    I'm not quite up to designing and building suspension so I'll leave that for another day.

    All of the holes are drilled and tapped. Everything lines up.
