    This is how I attached it. Just bent the mesh at a 90 degree angle on both ends to wrap it around the existing stuff and zip tied it on. Seems to be holding well.

    Just a few minor things.
    Relocated my trailer plug-in. Made two L-brackets out of 1in aluminum (1/8in thick). Had the extra nut and bolts lying around the garage. Also had some MatteBlack Rustoleum left over from other projects. Spent just over $6. Might redo it later, but I think it looks pretty good for my first attempt. Got the plug-in out of the way and I didn't have to cut a hole in my bumper.
