    Not possible because the drivers side front dropped 2"s when it happened. I was luckily near the house making a right hand turn when I heard a "thunk" up front. Pulled into a parking lot to check it out and found it. Drove right home.

    Now could it have started to stress crack on the trail last weekend (red cone) maybe. But they are only 7 months old. They should not being doing this. Checked the passenger side and there is nothing going on with that side.

    We will see what Toytec says today. One floating theory is that they have 16" springs on them instead of the typical 14" spring. Maybe they were binding some and caused more stress on the shock? Who knows as I am no expert on this part.

    OK so as to be expected when I reached out to Toytec today their customer service is top notch. I brought them both of my coilovers because I wanted them to inspect the passenger side as well. They had not seen anything like how I broke the drivers side... to date. As we talked it through some it turns out I am the only one on record running 700lb Eibach springs with the BOSS shocks on a 2nd gen Tacoma. So to remove that variable from the equation we all agreed to reset up my Coilovers with the standard 600lb. springs.

    At the end of the day I now have these installed;
    [IMG]

    New springs and new shocks both sides. Also learned some cool things about their Coilovers today. They design all of their Coilovers around the Eibach 16" spring which is different then most Coilover manufacturer's when applying them to OEM uppers and lowers. Their rubber bushing in the bottom IS the Bilstein bushing. So as far as rubber bushing go it solid quality. The BOSS shock has been impressive so far to me so I definitely didn't want to give up on them due to this "fluke".

    Toytec plans to send my shocks back to their manufacturer for review(Eibach makes the shock. Design is all Toytec). Hopefully this will be the answer. The 600lb springs do ride much better but we will see how long they hold up.

    Oh and the Toytec SEMA build Tundra is shaping up to be pretty bad ass. Looking forward to seeing it! :)

    Already in and I will get the alignment checked but it should be good. They set the coilovers to my current set height so the alignment should not be off. But I will get it checked just in case.

    It all depends on what you plan to do with your truck. I do NOT need full coilovers with resi's on them because I do not jump or baja my truck. I like the BOSS set up because the valving is a better and I like the adjust-ability of them.

    OME has always made a good everyday lift kit that will suffice for 90% of the off road community and will get you where you want to go.

    Honestly I'd say the OME lift will fit your needs perfectly then.
