help removing grille and headlights

doing BLHM.

and was wondering if anyone could elaborate on how to take off these damn things.

 

Go to Lifesaflaw123's writeup about the Satoshi.

It will tell you how to remove the grille. Now for the HL there are 2 screws on top and a PITA screw underneath and behind the front bumper

 

for the headlights i see 4 screws. 2 on top 2 on bottom is that right?

and for the grill. 2 pins 2 bolts and one underneath?

i live in fountain valley california. right by huntington beach. i am painting my yellow fogs now.

and taking apart my grill as well. haha..... just hope i dont run into too many problems

hmm. i got the top two off.

i cant even spot the bottom two?

any help cause one side of the bottom wiggles so it feels like theres only 1 screw on the bottom left

 

so i just pulled the headlight out. there were 3 screws and one pin.

 

here is a LINK. the outer, bottom screw has to be removed from the bottom of the truck.

 

BTW, good luck w/ the MOD - worth the time & effort.

 

yea. i actually broke the bracket for the bottom screw when i was pulling it. just gonna gorilla glue that dick. but. just painted one head light. sanding other now. kinda nervous on putting the head lights back. seems like a pain in the ass

 

Let it dry for a bit before you re-assemble it. i was to quick to put it back together that I accidentally rubbed some paint off. Also, make sure you have some sealant to put around the headlight. just so it does not fog up.
