I want to attempt an experiment... Is it possible to have a billing address in another state such as DE without sales tax and ship things elsewhere?

It wouldn't be any different than someone living in DE buying something. The only way they know you live in MD is because you enter in a MD address. Only problem is, by the time you do that and then drive to go pick it up, you'd be spending more in gas than you would just paying the tax probably.

Has anyone noticed the lack of Tacomas' available for sale at the stealerships? Here in Southern Md all I see is about five. Two at the local dealer and a three at Laurel carmax. Any thoughts as to why this is?

Maybe Toyota is holding back delivery so they can apply some kind of frame rust proofing thats guaranteed to fail like all the other frames from years past

New 2014s and 2015s that i have seen have some sort of gloss paint on the frames...

Its because the only 2015s i have seen have been ones that people ordered. I don't think they have started shipping them all over just yet :notsure:

I'm also gonna be moving to an apartment over the winter and need to downsize on my collection of instruments, gear, and books before then lol

The only reason Amazon is collecting sales tax is because of the new Amazon distribution center in south Baltimore opens tomorrow. You would think the Amazon distribution center in Northern VA would get the job done for the area.

On an up side it is supposed to employ 1000 persons.

According to this article, that distribution center doesn't start operations until next spring.

I think Amazon is jumping the gun on collecting taxes. I was thinking I had until next spring to worry about the additional taxes, but Amazon thought differently. Caught me by surprise.
