From humid-ass Columbus area, but now in Atlanta so not far away. I've only been to Athens a handful of times though.

Sometimes I like to turn on the A/C and adjust the vents so the cold air does not blow on me. It's almost impossible in the Tacoma the way the vents are designed. I like the round vents found in the F-250 Super Duty trucks much better...

Ha, I was just talking about that today!

Also I hate how the cruise control, automatic mirror adjustment and the 4X4 switch isn't illuminated.

That's all I have other than that I love my truck

I had a 1971 Toyota pickup - the first year without the add-on front turn signals sticking up on the front fenders. It was Very spartan inside and out but was as tough as nails. Very truck-like and reliable as sunrise. It did everything I ever asked of it.

Since then I have had every other brand of truck and in several models.

Now I have a 2007 Tacoma Base w/2.7 engine. Yes; I would rather have more room in the cab - but I could have bought an access cab too. <g>

But now that you make me think harder about it - I am sure that out of the dozens of trucks I've owned - this 2007 Base is hands down my favorite-ever truck. Second would be the 1971 Toyota pickup I mentioned. Third would be my 1979 Ford F-250 Trailer Special with every factory option and a 460 engine. But all things considered it really is a pretty distant third. Gasoline was forty cents a gallon then which helped with the sub-ten MPG too - I would never want it back now.

Oh! Something I Don't like about my Tacoma! I almost forget the actual question. <g>

    (several minute pause)

Well; I guess that answer is going to take me more time because I can't think of anything I don't like about this Tacoma right now.

Most of these things we'd like to have would eventually come back to bite us, for example:

Geeze, my indicator light went out on my fog light switch.

Darn it, my power sunroof leaks.

Shucks, my outside air temp gauge is 2 degrees off.

Dang...these mudflaps are so flexible they flap in the wind.

    :D

I wish that the truck came stock with a built in brake controller, when the tow pkg is selected. That was such a thoughtful addition on my '13 FX4, EcoBoost. I can't stand the look or bulkiness of an aftermarket controller hooked up under the dash.

I wonder if someone like Prodigy will make an app for Android/ iPhone that you can adjust and set gain output from you phone through Entune or Bluetooth.

    Silly things mostly.

The entune radio can post traffic and weather but the truck has no outside temp display.
No "mpg" or miles left on tank display. Stupid since even a stock Nissan has that.
Missing the important gauges though I know the sensors are there.
Safety stickers all over my visors. I hate that shit.
Entune won't work with a basic phone. I have bluetooth, so make it work Toyota
4 speed auto shifts harder than a 52 Buick
More badges than a room full of sheriffs. Toyota should pay me for advertising.
No foglights. WTF, all SR5's should have them, that's what you said in the brochure.
Less cupholders, seriously! Do the designers think all Americans have a drinking problem?

    Just a few minor things.
Had my 2014 since March. Things I don't like include:
-Didn't come with locking tailgate. PopNLock is the best alternative I've found and it's not that reliable.
-Bed storage compartments don't lock and are undersized.
-Had to add extra D-rings in bed.
-Trailer harness plug-in location (have since relocated)
-CHROME!! I hate it. Only chrome I have left is the rear bumper. Not for long though.
-Front mud flaps are too long.
-Carpeted floors. I miss the vinyl floors of my 2003 SportTrac

As for the MPG... I average between 20 and 21mpgs just driving around town and to work and back. No complaints there.

•Wayyyy to long mudflaps (trimmed up already)
•7 Pin location (have since relocated)
•The fact i spent 37k on a 2012 truck and it didnt come with heated mirrors or seats!!!
    •seats aren't the most comfortable
•no bed work light! How does a truck not have a light on the back of the cab to turn on while working in the box at night?!

Pretty good overall if thats all i can complain about so far. If it had the heated seats and mirrors it would score a 10 out of 10 with me but i cant get over the fact that my brother's 01 dodge even has heated mirrors lol just gonna have to add them one day i guess

    Don't like the composite bed
Don't like how close the pedals are together, especially in my manual transmission
Don't like that there is no bed light
Wish I could've got a TRD package as an option on my RC
Wish they used standard unistrut in the bed like the Frontier
Power windows and locks would've been nice without having to get the SR5 package in my RC

No bed light, no heated mirrors, stupid front mudflaps, and the seating position could be better. That's about all I've got.

Not sure why people are complaining about the composite bed. Has anyone actually had problems with it?
