No house in the mix, no retirement fund, no kids to fight over.
    Sounds like excellent timing.
Shitty situation for sure, never fun no matter what but trust me, without all that and only being 22 it's going to be ok a whole lot sooner than it feels right now. Get past the visuals, move to VA with a fresh start and you'll he good in no time.
Nobody wants to hear it but it could be a WHOLE lot worse, trust me on this one.

I love me some jack and turkey but I still have to work the last week I'm here even though the navy is letting me go a little earlier in the day. I've got a Tacoma that's half paid for and a job in the navy as long as I don't show up drunk tomorrow that's bout it.
Oh and the good olé Martin guitar to right a country song on at this point, kinda broke the laptop to record it with this morning.

It does, for sure. Get an annulment, and then go rub your dick on a bunch of VA vadg. Eventually you'll see the light, just don't let it consume you.

I don't know that an annulment would work in this scenario because normally from what I understand annulments are for pre existing circumstances that were not told or the plaintiff party was deceived about or unaware of at the time of marriage. And my up bringing taught me divorce was a sin same as Fornication, and adultery. So I feel like I'm in between a 50 foot rut with no way to get down. Hell divorces and annulments are like 3k as is. And before I go get anything else I wonder if I should be the one getting the check that I give to many sailors and marines on a weekly basis.

Well don't let your upbringing (divorce being a sin) hold you back from what you need to do, the damage is already done (on her part) You need to file for divorce as soon as practical, alienation of affection are still grounds in Ca. IIRC , regardless of this being a "no-fault" state, irreconcillable differences.. You've been wronged & yep hurts like a motherfucker & pretty normal to feel like killing ones self & the offending party, don't act on it tho'... moving on & doing better is the best revenge going , trust me

I found out my wife (& mother to my kids) was fucking around on Christmas eve some almost 30 years ago, got thru all those feelings of hate & ended up with a girl that was not only younger than she but better looking/more loving, etc: My ex is still chewing on that I suspect.... But it DOES get better, time sees to that...

    Hey doug.
We were married in the state of Tennessee and she and I are Tennessee residents so not sure if that changes things. And not sure how to even feel now that the initial pissed the fuck off is gone. Shit I still gotta stay in the same damn house with her for 8 days. Gonna be a hell of a week. Plus my fuckin football team and nascar driver lost. What's this world coming to?!?!?!

If you're a christian (which it sounds like)the bible allows divorce in circumstances such as unfaithfulness.

Well other then me cursing in time of despair as the apostle Paul and the disciple Peter did yes you are correct I am a born again child of God. But you are right the Bible does so for "Adultery, the unbelieving depart, or death" which the first applies here but still doesn't make it any easier my friend.

When it rains it pours man. Lucky you don't have a kid or it be pretty rough sorting through that. I was raised in a strict Christian household. You don't want to be miserable. Ya it going to be rough for a bit. If you can't drink I'd hit up the gym to clear your mind. Just wait until you get settled into va. It is pretty fun there, but still no San Diego. If you can't get divorced yet maybe contemplate separation until you can save up for a divorce.

Ya its hell on earth. I Swear the rapture will happen tomorrow haha jk. But ya have my physical readiness test tomorrow at MCRD so hopefully that'll clear it up a bit. I've been a gym rat as is the past 3 months but looks like there may be more time to go now without nagging.

Not sure how it works in Tn. but I do know that it matters what state the divorce is filed in, you'd probably be better off filing where you're resident status is. Damn, 8 days under the same roof is going to be rough no matter HOW much you keep it together, I'd try to avoid her as much as possible & opinions will vary but I found that even if they beg/promise to do right by you & all the other shit that's said by those who get caught cheating most the time it's just words they think you want to hear & I'll tell you that even tho' the cheating party may in fact be true to their word after that, at least for me the fact that it DID happen never goes away, you may be able to go on thru life with them it'll always be in the back of you're mind I suspect, its still in mine, I just don't care anymore is all, adultery is the biggest hurt of all, IMO...

Ya 8 days will seem like an eternity. And it not the first time I've caught her talking to other men but this time went further than talking and this one I don't believe is a forgivable offense. Now to back out on the closing of the Virginia house and lose a few grand and hope I can finish making the payments on my truck and a place to rent out there. Might have to look into refinancing the truck for a lower payment per month. But I agree this by far is the biggest stab in the back someone could give me and right under my nose under my roof and to my face.

Hey bud, keep your head up. I am in the process of the same, but very close to the finalization of mine. Be happy you don't have kids as others have said. Its going to be a roller coaster but you will be better in the end. If you are still Navy, talk to your command, I got a lot of help on base. Also it doesn't matter what state you marry in, the only state you can divorce in right now is California. Divorce is based off of physical residence. Also you haven't been married long, so she really can't get shit from you. 7 years till she can get alimony or 10 to touch retirement. My divorce in California has only cost me $275 filing fee and actually my ex had to pay that. That is even with kids.... It doesn't have to be expensive or ugly.

If you need anything you are welcome to PM me.
