NJ B.S. Thread

I know some of you guys have Hondas, but not sure what years. I have a brand new power window motor for a 2006 Civic (driver's side, front). I bought it to put in my cousin's car, but she blew a hole in the block before I could get it installed for her. Only paid $21.77 including shipping, so it's not worth paying return shipping and a restocking charge. Can anyone here use it? Free to good home.

Hope you taped off what you didn't want powdered lol. I just spent 30 min sanding to powder off my tire gate spindle. Of course I was lazy and tried to fit it on first. Yea then it got stuck.

 

From the pics it doesn't look too bad. Definitely worth buying out and building a trail rig.

How much to buy back? I would, and let us vultures have at it for parts.

 

Took the truck out to break in the leaf springs today. Did 20 miles down and back at speed in the trails. Wholly night and day difference. I was pushing at least 20mph faster than previous top speeds and had more to go. I was afraid the Dakars would be rough like in other peoples trucks Ive ridden, but dam the shackle flip sure soaks up the bumps good and tames it. I'm so glad my rear end wasn't bucking all around and riding like a rock. Also helps I had a full size spare and 5 gal of water in the bed tied down to help break them in.

 

I'll detail the story after I have a check in hand.

 

Everyones Tacoma is DESTROYED. I bet Craig is glad he has that DD mod

 

My truck is good I drove it to work today. I feel bad for Craig I hope he can get everthing squared away before the Big Dogs trip.

 

Not sure what happened but I know an oil pan is usually no fun and I could have sworn I read that thats what it was... I just dropped the f350 off at the shop today for a new one.

 

He broke his front diff mounts.

 

Mount. Just one, not all.

The trail repair held like a champ & I made it back with no issue.

It's already at the shop.

 

after finally making my way to RC for the 1st time… RC made sure to say good bye to me by having a tree jump behind my truck when i was trying to make a k turn at the very end of day (literally as were calling it a day smh) and now my rear bumper and tailgate are going to require a massage session with a dr. mallet…

RC was so fun… so glad i finally had some time to go….



It isn't all that bad.... just funny that it happened at very end of the day...

 

It was both actually. The one bolt backed out all the way which put a ton of pressure on the other bolt. It cracked the cast on the mount which left the diff free to rotate forward and backward which re-opened the first hole and put a 12mm size hole in the second location.

That's good to hear.

I tweeked my front bumper pretty good on the first trail of the last trip.

I am going to retorque mine tomorrow before I reinstall my skid.

 

Glad to see that you made it back.

Could have been far worse, you had a good spot to work on it, daylight, good weather, tools, a little inventiveness, extra oil, and some magic goop.

Next time if we could forget the gnats.....
