    Hey guys, thanks all.
New challenge, as Monte post,is "colorful", really simple, any camera any time, any place.
This is just an example to demonstrate the concept.

Picked up a 5 year old English Setter last week and took the day off to work him on some birds. I've always found cock pheasants to be colorful. Not my best lens but it is the one I am carrying in the field and woods this fall while hunting.

I will be passing through Aberdeen on Nov 1 and coming back through there on Nov 15. Each year there is a hand full of us that are retired military who rent a house in the NC part of SD. Every time I see the billboard in Aberdeen near the airport headed East that says something like "Eat Steak, Wear your Furs, Keep your Guns. Welcome to South Dakota" a big smile crosses my face. I freaking love SD. And seeing a new dog piss all over themselves when hundreds of wild pheasants go up for the first time is always worth the price of admission :)

Thanks Marc, maybe when you come home sometime we can get together if everything lines up right. I've been to Whispering Emerald Ridge several times, that isn't too far from you I think. Last couple of years they have been focusing more on weddings though.

I leave in 2 weeks for a week 12 miles from the BWCA ruff grouse hunting. I plan on stopping at Hawk Ridge on my way up and also back. Was hoping to have a 500mm lens for HR but after dropping the coin on a Garmin Alpha and TT15 collar for the dog that is going to have to wait. But the peace of mind of knowing where a big running dog is in the huge woods of Superior NF is well worth it. Never needed a GPS on the Toller but I wouldn't trade in my time I've had with him for anything else in the world.
