Do you recall your bmi then and do you know what it is now? If you weight the same but are not in shape, chances are you body fat % is higher and your bmi is different now. In order to get that shape back, you'll need to focus on fat loss and muscle building... As the more muscle you build, the fat you'll burn. You'll notice a slight decrease in size but your weight should remain the same if you are doing it correctly.

Diet and cardio yea, but you wanna hit those weights too.

I know my body fat % then was about 10 or so, now i would bet 18 to 20%. I have lost 60lbs in the last 5 months and just started back in the weight room. Its all coming back to me but before i was working my way up not down so its all a bit different. Just looking for ideas to mix it up cause I'm getting to the weight I aimed for, but i just need to shake up my routine of run, abs, pullups, push ups.... repeat. I make it to the weight room about 3 days a week, but Im in the whole, low weight getting my form back which is frustrating cause the weight is light and its the stablizer muscles that I work iut the most. My bench is so weak.....

What the hell is that? A handstand race? I really thought I wanted to crossfit a while back, but it just seems stupid now. I can thank this thread for helping me see the light!

Any of you guys do one of those Run or Dye races? My wife made me do one this weekend and it was a complete load of crap. I know it's a fun run (5k), but it was pretty pathetic. Pretty much one guy on a mike at the start and finish "pumping" people up then you just run with a couple of places where they throw dye. They make it sound like it's a super fun race, but it was a giant waste of money. Made the wife happy though.

Anywhere you have to run 5k and get shit thrown at you is a waste of money....just have the wife run around the yard and throw shit at her next time...less money, more fun!

HAHAHAHAHAHA, I'll mention that to her next time. I knew it would be a waste of money, but had to make the wife happy on this one.

Now it make total sense. All those handstands to achieve the ultimate reverse squat goal.

I dont condone that whatsoever lol
but do you realize the core strenghth and shoulder stability that guy must have to do that...that part is pretty impressive id bet hes a gymnast

And why are people hating on handstand walks? Its a great core workout and realy increases your shoulder stability, plus its fun as hell to walk around on your hands!

You can get a strong core without walking on your hands. Squats, deads, military press, bent-over rows, traditional rows, and REAL pull-ups are just a few exercises that work the core without making you look like a buffoon

Not as good of a core workout though. Try and see what targets your core more :D

contracting is a little different than stabilizing, your core is more than just your 6 packs and obliques.

Not getting technical but honestly sitting on a bench doing presses or walking around on your hands... What's doing more for your body as a whole. Let's be a bit more realistic lol
