I have a 13" lightbar if you want it. It's not a dual light though...

Maybe, I dunno. I was planning on using it primarily as a dust light since I want to run a 40" bar on top

Looks great! And I like that it is welded on.

I know, I was blowing it off because I don't think we should pollute his thread with nonsense that's already been discussed ;)

Honestly... part of the reason it's welded on is because I didn't want to pay $30-40 or whatever for each tube clamp/coupler, plus it's a PITA to wrestle a bumper into place (by yourself), and hope everything lines up (especially on homemade crap like this).

I built it in a way the doesn't hinder the removal of any components.

Yea his truck is nothing like....well...anything. So a weld on bumper is fine. He can get to everything he needs to cause nothing is there as he moved it all

Haha I was actually sitting there trying to think of how I was gonna design it so Madjik doesn't think it looks like a mustache.:p

And yeah, as soon as an opportunity presents itself, I'll bring it home.

    I win! :D

    Sounds like a plan. :D

3rd angle grinder KIA during this project before I could finish the bumper. I think I'll finally put down the cash on a Dewalt. This time the stop pin for removing disks got jammed and bent somehow.

stuff is coming along Jon. looking really good. I'll give a recommendation for a Dewalt angle grinder. I'm on my second one. First one lasted through 8 years of hard use. I've had the current one for 2 years and it's been worked hard. Well worth the extra cash IMO for a good quality grinder if you're doing as much fab work as you are.

as for your front bumper.....the two tubes that brace the stinger back toward the firewall.....wouldn't you rather notch the grill for those tubes instead of notching the hood?

Thanks Adam. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's actually about half grill and half hood, so I shouldn't have to notch the hood too much. They sit on top (of what's left) of the radiator support which I want to keep intact.
