Saw this on there web page can any one help me out on this one?

Its just taking the stock coils off and adding these ones which are longer and by not installing the top plate you achieve a 2-2.5 lift.

Anyone have any experience with something like this?

Also I have a double cab so with the heavier front would the spacers be recommended if im shooting for a 2.5 in lift?

How many miles on your rig? Can't recommend spacer lifts to anyone.

Something doesn't sound right.... If you can run the stock shocks, the spring weight must be heaver than stock and the springs are NOT longer.

 

60k that's what I've looking at or ome. this one sparked my interest though. The spacers are just 1/2 top plates compared to a full spacer lift

So you think they are stiffer. Im not worried about ride its a truck. But the stiffer coils would make it a harsher ride correct?

 

I have the full OME kit on mine; can't speak for the billies, but any aftermarket coil is going to be stiffer than stock. I didn't really notice a difference after it was installed.

If you want to lift your truck, but don't have the money, save for a proper lift and do it right the first time. I don't get why people would ruin a 30k truck with spacers

 

It would be a stiffer set up. But that doesn't mean bad. Less small bump compliant, but also less brake dive and would most likely handle heavier hits better.
It really depends on the spring and how linear or progressive it is.

The OME springs are both longer AND have a heavier spring weight, (just not that much heavier)
