    This is working great in my '99.

    PS, you don't need the air filter on it unless you have a turbo. That's why it has the big screw (air tight BTW).

    Any of you guys venting your catch cans to atmosphere(VTA)? I'm currently VTA under the hood, but the AC vent sucks in all the smells when stopped. Any of you guys route to outside the body?

    I just haven't put my line back into the intake track due to hearing mixed reviews about vent lines being plumbed pre turbo. I might try it for a week or so if no one runs VTA.

    I am VTA. Necessary for my app. For yours, it is just easiest to plumb it back in. That way you don't have to worry about rerouting vacuum hoses so that a vacuum leak isn't created.

    Unless you absolutely desire it to be VTA.

    Edit**** Sorry MadTaco. Didn't realize you were turbo.

    Try running a hose, to relocate the breather somewhere else. It will really help.

    Thanks. Sorry yes I have a turbo. I'll try experimenting by moving the breather outside the engine bay. Maybe in the fender, up near the front bumper, or under the cab. Whatever helps from sucking the fumes into the truck. She is a stinky girl.

    my buddy gave me a vibrant oil catch can.(ill post a pic at the end)
    since it long and skinny will it be ok if i mount it on the pass side fender or somewhere over there since with the s/c and coolant res. on the driver side are in the way?
    extending the hoses wont hurt anything will they?[​IMG]
