I called Toyota to see if they knew what the solution would be yet.

They said they're still evaluating solutions and parts availability so they don't know yet.

Even if they replace with the 4 leaf pack they are not that great as well. I had my 3 leaf replaced with the 4 leaf as part of the drivetrain vibration tsb and after 4 months of use they are getting weak as well. my 3leafpack only lasted 30k before it started to frown and sit on the overloads and sadly that's where my new 4 pack is heading.

If some of the leafs were already replaced with the TSB - and therefore later made springs, why do the spring change twice??

Doesn't show up under my VIN...wonder if the TRDs are excluded for some reason?

Hopefully they will replace my flat frowning springs since mine made the list.

My 2011 Prerunner, bought in January 2011, is not on the recall list. If you call in, be prepared for a wait. Mine was about 10 minutes, maybe a touch longer. Get your case number as well.

My 07 Prerunner has a safety recall for the springs. I had the spring TSB done. The notice at the Toyota Owners site says Toyota is preparing a remedy.

I have to take my wife's 2014 Rav4 in tomorrow morning for her 5k mile service (complimentary service for first 25k miles) and while there I'm gonna ask them about this recall. My 08 TRD O/R qualifies so I wonder what they'll do. I'd like to get what I want and be reimbursed through the recall in which case I'd like to get the All-Pro Expo leaf pack, lol. Guess I'll see tomorrow...

Maybe the 4 leaf packs were made to the same specs as the 3 leaf and therefore will ultimately fail as well. Toyota has known for so long that there Rear springs blow, why wait until the very end of the platforms cycle to finally issue a fix, this should of been done in like 2006-2007 not 2014.
