Who needs wheels? Posting in local threads before making a new one.

    They are Mickey Thompson Classics.
16x8 and of course 6x5.5 bolt pattern for Toyotas.

I'm looking to get $200 for the set, factory spare included.

Not very credible. At least in Sacramento, We are already limited to two yard waterings per week. There are already fines established for over usage.

Seems someone has pulled a lot of mixed news together about conservation. We are low, yes, but we actually still have a reserve that can last the state a year on the current levels.

But I like the 'prediction' about the massive migration out of the american south west. lol It'll never happen.

My sister is an environmental engineer that focuses on water conservation; most of this is scare tactics to get people to be more conscious of water usage. Are we in a drought, most definitely, crops have been cut back this year, but we aren't all going to die of food and water shortage. lol

what pissis me off about this, is i see tons of my neighbors and local home owners not cutting back.watering almost daily, with lawns greener then most golf courses. they are not being fined, there is no enforcement on this, just a ton of bullshit. In the fab 40s and surrounding ares.yet are capitol lawn looks like shit.all state buildings have shut there fountains off yrs ago and watering to a min.

After looking at his pic, it was definitely bruteforce; didn't have light bar in bumper or any lights, also had stock fenders. But both are good looking tacos!

There are plans afoot to do this. These are the CA codes that allow it to happen. Look in section 372.

What's frustrating to me is several fold. There are no corresponding limits to development (Santa Clara County will likely increase in population by over a million in the next 5-10 years and there are already thousands of new residential units under construction). No one took drought seriously until just recently yet we have been in a drought for at least three years-most politicians blew it off by saying effectively "this is a temporary thing". Finally, most of our infrastructure was designed for a population much lower than the current population-and you look at the cry to take down dams. What needs to happen is for water storage to be increased by two or three times at least-the reality is CA has been hanging on for many, many years. After all, CA is for the most part, a desert.

The state has already gone after well owners (particularly true in the central valley) in order to limit the amount of ground water pumping.

We should all hope for a very wet rainy season or this is gonna get much worse in the coming years.

x2, Well said sir. I kept wishing for more rain this weekend. The drizzle we got wasn't near enough. Plus, my truck needed a nice rinse.

Think about what 50g means in your daily world. About 10 gallons goes toward flushing the toilet. It takes 2 gallons to get the hot water from the garage to the shower. Maybe another 20 on a shower. Then if you brew coffee, there goes another gallon. You're over half your allowance (per person) and you haven't even done any cleaning, the laundry, dishes, or cooked any meals.

Oh. And most businesses? Haven't heard any talk about business usage. Or the massive amounts of water used on school fields or other outdoor landscape. And although apartments meter gas and electricity, they often don't meter water on a per unit basis.

Oh. If you live in Livermore or anywhere that water company serves, you can get a couple hundred gallons of free "non-potable" water to do with what you want :D
