Well I have no skid plates on right now, so that shouldn't be an issue haha. I've been looking, and I think I'm just going to go the ACE root and buy some longer bolts and washers

Combatman - why did you use 5125's in the rear and not 5100's?

Not 100% sure. I got probably 3" of lift in the rear, and when I called that's what they recommended. Ive also heard they're the same as the 5100's if you don't custom order them

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
2002 with 5100s up front on stock coil. Fabtech AAL in back. Plastidip on the stock steel rims. Duplicolor paint on the faded flares and front bumper. Got 2.5" all around.

The RCD/Bilstien 5100 rear shock and the Bilstien 5125s are the same shock in design and internals and even valving. And even cost about the same. However, the 5125s are offered in various lengths so If you know the compressed and extended lengths you need, you can get the ideal sized shock for your setup.

Front end is stiffer but it isn't noticeable due to the rear end beating me to death with the AALs. I didn't change the rear shocks due to budget constraints at the moment but I don't know if that will ease my stiff back end performance.

I just installed my lift and I have the Same thing. I think they call it taco lean. I could be wrong. I think OME sells some sort of trim packer to install above the drivers side coil over to fix it, I'm not terribly bothered by it so I'll probably leave it.

I'm not positive on any of this, I just remember hearing this somewhere

Just talked to Toytec, they said it is typical for our Tacos with afetr market shox and I just need a 1/4" spacer.

I recently got my bilstein/eibach lift kit from toytec and am going to install it tomorrow.
I posted this in the wheels and tires section but haven't gotten a response yet so i figured i'd ask here. So, will 285/75/R15 fit on with this setup with no other modifications? What about 275/75/R15?
Sorry if there are a lot of questions like this but iv'e been searching and can't find an answer.

Verify the wheel size. Never heard of285/75s on a 15" wheel. Did you mean 16s?

Yea there is only 33x10.5r15 or 33x12.5r15.

    That said. A 285/75r16 is about a 33x11.

No 33" tire will go on with out some trimming and hammering. Period.

Homebrew bumpers and sliders, 5100s & Eibachs up front and mutt leaf pack out back, 285s & Wheelers type B, sway bar deleted. Wife's ride: 01 4Runner 4wd sport. Stock with exception of TRD taco coils, and shift kit.
285/75/r16s? Regardless of lift pinch weld mod at minimum and possible fender trim yet. Check my build for a link on the fender trim. You'll also need spacers if running stock wheels or aftermarket wheels or the tire will probably rub the UCA.

Sorry I get confused easily with tire sizes. I am simply wondering the max tire size I can fit with this setup and 15 in rims.
Sorry for the stupid questions lol.

33x10.5r15 or 33.12.5r15. You'll have to worry about rim backspacing with 33x12.5r15.

But you will still have to bash the pinchweld (I'd just cut it off) and do some inner fender trimming. Nothing drastic.

Ok thanks a bunch for the quick reply. I will most likely go with the 33x10.5r15. But what would the biggest be without trimming?

    32x11.5r15

But really, there is hardly any trimming. and if you don't offroad, you'll barely need to do anything

I do off-road a fair amount and plan to more. Is the trimming still fairly minimal when trying to avoid rubbing too much when off-road and being stuffed etc.? Sorry for all the questions.
