Alittle debadging, good wash, and get real tedious with cleaning under the hood

Also picked up a nifty little center console organizer that even came with free beer! :D

Then I bought a charging dock the other day, and decided to extend the cord. Run it under the center console and shifter so that the back seats can charge stuff but it still looks clean.

Installed a new dash cam. Amacam from Amazon. Thing is tiny and very impressive. The picture quality is awesome and I love how small it is

Felt like I needed to do something to the Taco today...

Anthracite plastidip. By no means close to color match but I like how it gives something to the front instead of just a black blob grille area...

By god, when you're right, you're right. Thanks for letting me know. I read through all that crap at least twice when I bought the truck, but I'm having senior moments more frequently these days. :rasta:

I guess I just spent $40 I didn't have to. But I did learn a bit about the truck, got me out in the garage and it saved me waiting around at the dealer (last time it was about 1.5 hours if I remember right). I got it done in way less time than that. Think if I go down there they will just give me 5 quarts of synthetic and an oil filter and tell me to go away? Nah, me neither.

Dropped my truck off at Firestone to have the LCA's and blower motor changed out since its under warranty and it has to be done by a shop. I get a call 5 hours later saying that the lug nuts on the right tire were cross threaded and 2 of my lug nuts broke while taking them off and that the right tire was still on. Now they say I'll get my truck back tomorrow around 3. I wish warranties were a matter of telling them what was wrong and they send you the parts and give you the option to install them yourself. Luckily a buddy of mine in Korea is letting me borrow his Frontier in the mean time and boy I tell you what, that thing is horrible! I mean, I had a 08 Frontier AC before my Tacoma and it was ok outside of the turning radius and it being an I4. Maybe it's because this thing has over 95K miles on it, but the gas pedal is sensitive, like the truck jumps when you barely hit it and mine didn't do that, the brakes are pretty soft, and the power steering isn't as smooth or easy to turn like on the Tacoma's. Anyways, I just want my truck back! Especially after I did all the work on customizing the interior pieces the night before, haven't even been able to enjoy that yet. Oh, and the shop better be replacing my lug nuts and studs if they're fuct up!

How do you install it? Debating on one of these versus one that will wire into the new radio I want and come up on that screen

You just run the cable to the monitor underneath the cab? Or is it wireless?

No there's a screen on the device itself...I don't need a full time monitor. Playback and all can be done from the camera itself.
    Just ran the power only
