I bought the one with a sliding switch, not the paddle. I didn't like that safety latch either haha.

Glad I went with the 7 amp one. The 10 amp was like 40 bucks more and had the paddle switch. And yeah, it's much better than the others I had. It's quieter, the switch is easier to operate, the gearbox/head is much slimmer, and it doesn't blow all the shit into my face.

I've had my Makita 4" angle grinder for over 10 years and it still works kickass! Also bought a Milwaukee 4.5" when they were on sale for $50 some years ago and it is still working. I put them through hell too

Rear is on its own weight. Not sure if the springs are too long though. I have the adjustable collars cranked all the way up and the shocks have at least 2"-3" too much showing. I know it'll settle when it's fully loaded but as to how much I have no idea. Is it just too early to tell? :notsure:

You have an empty 30gal tank which that alone will be 240lbs...plus a full size spare..100lbs?

    So

Yea. Way to early to tell

Yeah I was figuring 400-500 lbs., but like I said, the collars are cranked all the way up and at full droop, they'd be sitting like 4" under the collar.

Well I'm sure they won't be all the way up with the full truck loaded.

And you will probably have to do limit straps...

I think the limit straps will also help, but like you said only the rear is on its own weight, it will be a little different when the whole truck is under its own weight

Do you need a 200 lbs love machine to help break in the back end?
