Scratch the wrap idea. One of the shops quoted me $450 for those few interior parts!

Do it! lol. I keep thinking of dipping the whole truck blaze orange, but if I get tired of it I don't wanna spend a week straight peeling it all off, lol. On another not, I just ordered some more 3m wrap. I'm gonna try and do these parts again myself.

If you are still looking for installers, you could try Quality Installations (everyone knows them as QI). They do lists of adhesive install work. I think we usually pay them $2.50 p/s/f...which seems to be the going rate for adhesive installs.

    Hey guys,
Can anyone recommend a scenic or easy to moderate trail in or around Las Vegas? My family and I are taking a quick weekend trip out there in a few weeks and we'd like to explore a different side of Vegas. Thanks in advance.

    ^^ that's not a trail, that's a road!

on a side note...is that off-road part still open towards the end of that red rock loop?

I always go to jean. Plenty of trails to get lost on for hours. Hollywood is around the corner from my house and I go there a lot too. Nothing difficult, just a few trails through the mountains.

Just found out that there's going to be a recall on the rear leaf springs on certain 2005-2011 tacoma 4x4 and prerunners, I input my vin at this website: www.toyota.com/recalls, and it pulled up the info on the recall

Mine pulled up as well. I have to take my wife's Rav4 in this morning for a complimentary oil change and I was gonna inquire about this recall while there.

YES!!! Please come get them out of my sideyard!!!

15"x8" I think. If I remember right I've got 4 of the micky thompson style wheels that are black and then 1 or possibly 2 steel black wheels with the round holes. $150 for all 6 of them seem fair/cheap enough? That's $25 per wheel...

I don't have any good pictures. They've been sitting in the side yard for probably 2-3 years now. Need a good scrubbing basically.

Horrible pictures! But best I have on hand right now...

Email me directly if you're interested... I'm home typically in the afternoons after 4ish and around most weekends.

Let me know what they say, I'm very interested to know, from what I read there's about 690,000 4x4 and prerunner tacomas involved

They didn't really say much and I didn't think they would since it was just announced yesterday. They just told me that they're trying to find a remedy for the problem and once they find one the dealerships will need to start stock up on the parts and then they'll start sending out the recall letters. I'm thinking that that will take a few months to happen so maybe by spring time since it's not anything major and worse case scenario hasn't actually happened yet.

Anyone have a 12x1.5 black lug nut for pro comp wheels? I have my truck in the shop right now having the LCA's replaced along with the blower motor. They're under warranty so I don't have to pay anything otherwise I'd do the work myself. Anyways, I called to see where they were at and they said that one of the lug nuts was cross threaded on from the last person who took them off and broke the lug nut. I was the last one to take off the wheels so I could change out the UCA ball joints. I know I didn't cross thread the lug nut by putting it on by hand.

Not recently but I have seen a few on 18 wheelers being transported while still wrapped up. Last ones I saw though I think were Cadillacs about a year ago
