I'll have to stop by the HAM radio outlet and see what they have. I'm currently running a CB but the skip makes it useless at times. There always seemed to be a big barrier to entering the HAM world but maybe I'll invest the time and get my technicians license .

I'll shout out on 19 now and again and see if your around Chesh.

I think I got a brand new Kenwood 281 with a huge magnetic mount for my roof and the antenna that came with a smaller magnet for like $205 after tax probably one of the best things I bought for my truck. Trust me if you go out with a group they'll want you to have a radio. It also fits right in the little cubby right next to your shifter.

Ugh, still super sore after a huge crash on sunday, damaged my brand fucking new helmet!!! Super bummed.

However I took 1st place in all 3 races in class, I guess it balances out lol.

Why can't I find a place to recycle my catalytic converter in San Diego! All the places I called keep telling me they don't recycle catalytic converters or know anyone that does. Couple places even told me it was illegal. I tryed to argue that selling a used catalytic converter for parts is illegal but I wanted to recycle my used one. They didn't care but I had to say something. So does anyone know a place to recycle one? I don't want to sell it online and wait 2weeks for payment.

because people were going around cutting cats off trucks and selling them for recycling money. even if you find a place locally to take them you probably wont get your money right away.

As some of you know, his mother and I are very proud of Josh and all he has done for the off road racing world prepping trucks and buggies and helping build the luxury 'Raptor' Pre Runners.

He recently was invited to co-drive the Vegas to Reno race, second half... and the team finished in 5th place. Josh has been invited back to co-drive the entire Henderson 250 race in December!

Here is a photo his wife just sent of the race car with his name on the side...

I think Jason mentioned racing out in Barstow this past weekend. And the plaster city race only had a few bikes and quads to enter, they raced the same course as everyone else but I think their start time was around 6:30 thats when I was leaving because the visibility was so bad. I can't even imagine racing in that crap

Yes it did, bad part is it was almost a $600 helmet..:(

I didnt race the SCORE event, raced in D37 Desert series, Dual Euro Scrambles on Saturday and a Desert Scramble on Sunday.

Won all 3 races, but still pretty upset about the helmet, and some recent work has fallen through so not sure what I'm gonna do without the money to replace it, isnt safe to race with that helmet anymore. But I think I am forced to use it anyway...I just spent a ton of money on all new safety gear and that was the biggest ticket item.

Yeah entry fees are absolutely ridiculous!! Over $500 I heard for bikes! And to top it off it was held on a truck and buggy style short course, LAME!!

I'm done with SCORE racing. Roger Norman has pretty much chased most of the motorcycle guys away, me included. He is all about the 4 wheels.

and I struck out again. about 5small lobsters grabbed and about 3 or 4 really good lookin lobsters that were too far back in the rocks. We were not scuba diving, we were just free diving to about 30 feet which is about as deep as it gets by South Mission. Third night in a row striking out. I only had one paper last night but it sure was delicious

SCORE has made it pretty spectator unfriendly, I was in the pits and it still wasn't that good of a view. Only SCORE races worth attending are the Baja races

But that's not Score's fault. If they weren't like this in the US there wouldn't be Score races here. Score fans in Baja are used to standing stupid close. They had to set an example on how US based Score events would be ran. We aren't a 3rd world country like Mexico.

Roger gets a big thumbs up for bringing Score back stateside.
