Yeah the Speedway Blue really hides mud and scratches....

 

MGM hides dust and scratches. Sometimes I have to search for the pinstripes I got at lbl that I still haven't got rid of.

 

showed my wife some listings of red, blue, and black tacomas. She told me black.
So I found this. Too bad it's listed in a northern state (frame rust). And 90k miles on a 2012 is a bit much.

 

Damn, that's nice. I wouldn't be worried about 90k miles though, especially on a '12, I assume it would be mostly easy driven highway miles. But at the same time, it being from up north would scare me because of the possible rust factor. Just my .02

Yeah gotta be highway miles but it is still 90k on a brand new truck. Truck looks really good though with the black scheme and I like the Toyota badge and the camper shell actually looks pretty good on there but Adams right, the bumper sucks. Also I'm not sure I'd be worried about rust. I know Toyota started spraying their frames with rust prevention stuff and I also wouldn't think that rust would be that big of a factor in only 2 years

Carfax shows it having time in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Indiana. Too much road salt.
Report also had a line for a service date that said something like "registered for valvoline engine guarantee". Could be nothing or could be a sign that a shop f-ed up an oil change.

It was super tempting but not sure about making a 6 hr drive to look at it. A lot of gas money.

Nothing local so far. Trouble is that I want TRD interior. Don't like reg seats. A blue one was in Atlanta where a friend could check it out and interior stains suggest it's seen plenty of mud so it's off my list.

The valvoline engine guarantee is where the engine is covered 100% against any harm related to the oil. The stipulation is that the oil has to be changed to later than every 4k miles at a valvoline store, and the engine guarantee level depends on the oil. 150k mile guarantee is conventional oil, 225k is synthetic blend and 300k for full synthetic. Oh, and it has to be registered before 75k miles.

Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone ever saw it again. Only reason I know is because I work there lol.
