I might be hearing a spring binding or moving in its mount. I'm not terribly familiar underneath these beasties yet, but I'd look be looking at the spring/shock area.

dear god if dry uniballs are that f-ing loud I will NEVER get aftermarket UCA
I think you jacked something up in the steering.

I don't think its a spring issue as that should be static when just turning the wheel.

You can get ball joint UCAs and not have that problem, if you swap parts out that require more maintenance and you don't do the maintenance, yes it will happen.

try jacking the front wheels off the tires and turn the wheels.
If the sound is gone, something is just loose, and creaking under the pressure

I might be using this audio for my halloween party. Creepy wind noise with some slow creeking noises. Perfect.

with no tools I kinda feel like your wasting your time posting.
even if we can figure out what it is you cant fix it.
I wouldn't drive it 3 hours. If there isn't a shop close I see a tow truck in your future.

Man, you're gonna have to take it to a shop or shadetree mechanic.

All the internet advice in the world won't help you if you've no tools and no place to buy parts from.

    ...too much shit to list.
Pressure wash the shit out of it. It's just dirt and shit gummed up in one of the pivot points.

Stopped at a car wash and sprayed about 80% of the sandy, sticky mud off. I can't believe the stuff...it clings to everything. My entire undercarriage is coated. Got it off the rear wheels and the vibes went away...I guess I didn't do a thorough enough job last night. That sandy crab literally blasted the paint off my axle, driveshaft and pretty much everything else underneath. My new OME shock on the right rear is now plain grey, as all the paint has been blasted off.

The front end is still fucked. No longer a rotation issue, but still feels like something is binding. More or less fine at highway speeds, as long as there's pressure on the steering wheel, but at low speeds, the wheel starts to kick - I'm suspecting something with the tie rod. Not sure if the tie rod end is FUBAR'ed or if the rod is bent, or if its something else altogether. I suppose it could be a ball joint, but not really sure why that would go as suddenly as it did.

I'll take the wheel off when I get home and try turning the wheel with the truck on jack stands after making sure everything is still torqued to spec. Really hoping something just came loose.

F***ed steering rack... Im almost sure of it. If it makes the noise when the suspension is static, theres no reason to believe its the suspension. MAYBE a bad lower ball joint but thats a lot of noise for a little ball joint. My moneys on a jacked up rack and pinion.
