Not at all, unfortunately. I haven't even had time to do an reloading. Ugh.

We did take our grandson ziplining for his 11th birthday a few weeks ago. There is a course in Middleburg, VA with 5 zip lines and 2 suspension bridges. From the time you climb the first tower at about 30 ft you never touch the ground until you complete the course. The lines run from about 300 to 700 feet and you are somewhere between 30 and 65 ft in the air. We had a blast.

Mark, please pass My sincerest condolences to Lynn and the family on the loss of her Dad. Always a tough one to lose a loved one.

Glad to see your at least getting in some play time doing the hot air ballooning...Enjoy

Can someone give me some advise on a lift?
I'm not 60 just yet but don't see a 50 plus feed. I'm interested in
lifting my 2013 Tacoma. Considering a 3" lift with 285 65 18 tires but would it be something I might regret as I age? I plan on keeping the truck long term. Any advise on how high to lift truck or tire size I should consider?

Since you're asking in the old farts' thread I guess I should frame my answer accordingly. :p I have a 2012 AC v6 4wd, base model with none of the TRD or off-road packages. I'm 5'10", 32" inseam, and I pretty much just slide straight onto the seat (Wet Okole seat covers do add a bit of height there). I like not having to climb onto the seat, and I don't expect to do much in the way of heavy duty trail driving, so I won't be raising the ride height on my truck. I do want to upgrade the shocks to Bilstein 5100s but I intend to install them such that ride height is same as stock.

As far as the age thing goes; for me, it's not that I can't get into a higher vehicle, or that I experience pain or difficulty when doing so. I just wouldn't want to do it all the time! It's pure laziness on my part. :)

I don't have any advice on larger diameter tires other than they will throw off the speedometer and odometer, so be prepared for them to read low.

Somewthat on topic; I got an 'old man step' for getting into the bed. I really like it! http://www.amp-research.com/products/truckaccessories/bedstep/#

    Hey 6.
    Good to see YA .
    Nice doggies Charlie.
But OMG there's enough hair to fill a mattress. My boys Goldie was short hair but it was still a nightmare. I can't imagine them.

    Hey NTO.
Usually, anything related to lifts in here are related to faces or boobies.

I would suggest posting a new thread in the second Gen section.
They have a bunch of guys that just love to mod their trucks.
I'm on the other end of the spectrum, failing the mods they do for inspections.
    Welcome.
If your gonna hang around here,
The new guy fills the coolers...

Yup; figured it was just a matter of time. No worry though, the CDC has it under control, just like the secret service has everything under control at the WH!
