I appreciate but no need. The sales guy was great about my questions when I called and he emailed more pics.

It's got a block lift in the rear with Rough Country shocks. Front is just a spacer on stock strut/coil.
He said the rust is just surface level and nothing he'd worry about but it's more rust in 2 yrs than my 2005 has on it.
You can see some of it in these to pics. What do you think?

Oh, and I stopped at a local dealer to test fit the kid's car seat. Tight, but could work for a day trip.
Here is a pic 2005 vs 2012, both with ~3" lift. That 2012 has been rode hard though. Rub marks all over around the front tires and holes from mounting stuff inside (CB I'm guessing).

Want to add some more lift to the front should I stack a spacer on top of my strut. The billies at. 2.5 just don't look like it is doing much .

No lca did not need them. I have a set of bigger tires.

 

Right I'm just saying that if you were to add a spacer then you might need them which would add to your $$$

 

Ok this is how it started for me when I went with my 6" lift. Get it out of your mind asap or you'll be ordering a fabtech kit.

Wolfchase always has an ass load of tacomas! Can't find something else? And is that rust on the 2012 white one in the pic? I'd still say not to worry about it. Surface is means absolutely nothing. If you off-road at all then you scrape off paint. If you scrape off paint then you get surface rust. I have a lot of it but its real easy to fix

 

Any way you could put a stiffer coil on it? 884 or 885 ome coil?

 

I quit working on my rack n pinion just so I could watch it for an hour or two before I fall asleep haha
