    Got the diff repaired and found a new pan but the shop is very busy. They simply do not have enough time to swap the pan out and get the diff back in this week with all the other work they have.
    I was honestly amazed by the diff repair - I literally could not even see the weld. It looks like it was never even broken.

    At this point I'm just counting my blessings that I did not seize the motor by running it out of oil. This could have been much worse.

    I love that Sammich but I can't justify a 10 hour round trip for that I'm afraid. :eek:

    I wish buddy. This is all at my Father in law's shop. I don't have the tools or knowledge to take it on myself. Just the fact that he took on the job Monday when I had left the truck there on Sunday was above and beyond considering the shop's current workload.
    The pan was sourced from a parts engine that they happened to have on site.
    The diff mount that's currently on it is from a T4R and is not exactly correct. I'll have a new mount from Toyota tomorrow but even then the pan will not be swapped yet.

    gotta face the music and accept that I won't be making the meet with the truck this time. :eek:
