Keyless Entry Beep

I heard someone post on here that if you have done the Daytime running light mod taht you cannot install the beeping mod that someone posted on here... is that true?

 

I have both, but mine came from the factory that way. It beeps and has dtrl.

 

my truck did not come with daytime running lights. I adde them on and was wandering if you can still do the keyless entry beep.

 

Mine also came from the factory with daytime running lights and it makes the beep noise.

Why would they effect each other?
