Work still aggravating you, or just the Winter's coming blahs? I've kind of got those. It's a lot more fun pulling out the Summer toys to play, than it is packing everything back and prepping for another Winter. :(

I know ... I choose to live here.
Did I mention the oldest son and family are transfering to Phoenix in January; his company has an office there. Wife's sad about the grands moving away again. But I figure Phoenix isn't so bad a place to hafta visit a few times during the Winter. Not that I won't miss the grands, but it seems kind of hypocritical to critique them after dragging the boys around the planet most of their lives.

Paybacks, eh?? :D That's a good time to transfer - kinda get acclimated before it gets hot

Yep. I don't see myself visiting there in the Summer, I might die from heat stroke after being acclimated here. But I can definitely see escaping to there during Winter. Might start saving up for one of those big RVs and turn into a snowbird eventually if they stay there. We'll see. :notsure:

Went out bird scouting last weekend.. Walked my ass off .. lots of birds this year. The last stop of the day my soon to be 5 YO mom dog found a 4 foot rattler, dam good thing she just circled it and barked . The rat shot did its job:)

    Morning all:
    :woot: HE'S BACK!
Welcome back Jim! Good thing the dog didn't get too close to the rattler, that could be bad. :(

Good job on the waterfowl by your son Mike.
At one time I hunted almost everything, but now it's mostly deer and turkey. Not doing too good on the deer in the last few yrs. though.
Archery season opens on Sat., I wonder if they are going to let the guys hunt the area where the guy is on the loose that shot the cops? They have found some IED's there.

OMG! Now Tom and Jerry is racist!

    Evening all:
Same here Capt.; turning 67 this month. I also have medicare and the AARP supplement, which so far I haven't needed.

Here's a thought about all the info. being put out about ebola.
If I wanted to launch a biological attack against the US, I would get a handful of maryters and go from there.
This country better be very very vigilant about what's going on. But than again, they can't even protect the president properly!

Yup! No hunting in the area where they are looking for the cop killer.
Two more cops were injured after they fell out of a tree stand about 20' off the ground. The article said the floor gave out.
