Sounds like Billy B needs to go. John madden always said, 10 years is about right for a coach. You look at all the successful coaches and they all seem to lose it after 10 years with an organization and it starts to go downhill. Of course there are a couple exceptions to this way of thinking, but it's definitely an interesting theory

Why is everyone so hell bent on changing the Redskins name? Heard that the FCC may make Redskins a banned word with a big fine for saying it.

I think Brady is playing poorly because he isn't getting the time he needs and because he isn't getting off his first read hardly ever. Tom isn't a mobile quarterback, he can't run or scramble. Lucky for him, quarterbacking isn't all about running fast. But, Bill knows this. He knows Tom is slow. He also knows Tom's the best in the game when he has the time he needs. Knowing this, Bill needs to stack the offensive line, and center the team around Brady as much as he can, just like Elway is doing for Manning. I don't want to hear that Manning makes his receivers elite becaus that's not true. Everyone he has had been very good before he got there or they became a part of his team. Tom takes nobodies and makes them good, and has historically done so. It'll turn around, we had a worse offensive line in 2001, and we won the super bowl that year...

Unfortunately Brady is weathering a perfect storm: poor protection from his offensive line, receivers of limited talent (no one to stretch the field and no one to take the possession/slot pressure away from Edelman), no run game to set up play-action or force the secondary to cheat towards the line of scrimmage, an offensive coordinator who seems to be calling the plays like a high school game, and yes, an aging arm.

Anyone who knows football has to put some faith in Belicheck to right the ship. the question is can he do it "on-the-fly" and get this team performing at a high level come playoff time. Bill has always said that the team who finishes strong wins the title. (See NY Giants, 2007) I'm going to give it a few more games. Tonight should be very interesting. The Boston Globe has the Pats winning it, I'm not so sure. One thing is certain, they will have a better chance if they come out and score right away and play with a lead. Too many early 3-and-outs, and its going to be a long night in which we might see Jimmy G.

Either way, we all have to go to work in the morning...

Niners game was hella close, but great not to see flags, and old Alex Smith reverting to his old ways and throwing INT instead of making a comeback. Great game tho
