    I went to the gym this morning and did some body building just for you and hit triceps for 45 minutes lol trying to up my jerk numbers my cleans just under 300 but my jerks only at 225 :(

    Any advice for someone getting back into the gym after a year? Not routine wise, but how should I start off? Couple of sets per body part at 2 body parts per day? To get the muscles back into it. I know I'll be sore, but don't want to just start hitting it heavy without a little break in period. Thanks for your answers.

    Tuesday, thursday and saturday at 5am are my body building workouts so im not just the lame crossfiter u guys think i am :)

    I've always heard that beginners need to hit each body part 3x per week, experienced lifters need to 2x per week, and pro's only need to 1x per week. Dunno if it's true or not, but I switched from once to twice a week and I'm getting way stronger


    :thumbsup: at least you're getting some REAL lifting in there 3 times a week :stirthepot: haha jk man...I see see your shit on IG and you're definitely a cut above 99% of the mainstream Crossfit nerds

    for getting back into it id recommend vertical loading over horizontal loading for a beginner your workout plan, so workout like 3x per week (like m/w/f) and do the same workout each day and make it a full body workout so don't hit just like bis/tris. but instead of doing like for example 5x5 of bench you do 1 set of each exercise then move onto the next exercise and once you complete them all you re-do it and do a second set and stop after 2 sets or 3 if you can handle it and keep it in the 12ish rep range at a lighter weight. id say try this for 3-4 weeks then re asses where your at, if its only been a year you might be able to progress quicker than yah think, don't get this mixed up with a circuit either. its going to get your joints, tendons and all that warmed up to lifting again without being to hard on em

    Its crossfitters like you that make me hate crossfit just like its competitors that post up 50k meals of tilapia and say eat clean train dirty and bash all other ways of eating that make me hate fitness competitions and why people like Richard Sherman make me hate football teams. I don't see him tooting his own horn or filling the thread with posts of how good he is at stuff. We get it, you're into crossfit and you're not into anything else. It almost sounds like religion for you...let each of us be elite at or the best at what we chose for our fitness path and just be quiet dude...
