You can get a percolator at any place that sells camping supplies. Bass pro shop, carrys them. I'm sure EMS, REI, LL Bean all sell them too. They are for camping so maybe not the best quality ones but not expensive either.

I'll give you $1 for the old one. Then you can use the new one and you can tell your wife you can't find the old one! :D

I've got one for camping too for using over a stove/fire. For the house we have a stainless electric one, iirc it was like $75 or $85.

That does add up real quick. The bulk 10lb bag of DD from BJ's is like $15. That's a lot of coffee for like 7 equivalent cups purchased at a retail location.

My wife loves Mary lous. She always complains there's none by us, have to drive down to the damn south shore.

Haven't seen one of those around here. I don't mind DD, I just hate the way the girls make it. Comes out more like coffee milk. Any Honey Dew has better looking girls.

Sold, but there's a $10 handling charge and it'll cost at least $20 to ship. So for the low price of $31, it's all yours :)
Damn, that's an expensive percolator  I bought the stainless one from Bass Pro and I'm pretty sure it was only $40. There was a huge one there that was up in the $70 range but the $40 makes 6 cups (so about 4 actual cups).

We got it on our wedding registry. It was probably from bed bath and beyond or something. It makes like 12 cups though

Damn, what are you shipping it with? A bag of rocks? Or is it just really heavy gauge stainless steel?

Oh no, I'm not selling the stainless one. I'm selling my old one which is just pot metal. The stainless one would be an upcharge :D

Are you running a hotel here? I spent so much time on our trip arguing with the front desk people at hotels about upcharging their bills, haha! I must have had the "this is the price you quoted me when I booked my reservation, so this is the price I'm paying or I'll go somewhere else" conversation 20 times while we were there.

Nope, I negotiate contracts and change orders. Sounds like if this construction thing doesn't work out though, I could have a future in hotel management :D

Hey, that's (to an extent) what I do for a living!

Have any of you ever been to the Mark Twain house/museum in Hartford? still trying to find something to do other than wandering aimlessly around the city this weekend. My girlfriend has a degree in English Literature and is in law school now, so if it's worth the $20 per person i thought it would be right up her alley.. haha
