Thanks for all the advice - I made my choices and ordered from John on Wednesday night. I decided to go with:

    Premium Leather Kit/Dark Graphite (One-Tone)
    Perforation: Insert pattern
    Contrasting stitch: Ice Gray
Logo: Toyota Emblem in Ice Gray on front two seats

I wanted it to look close to stock, but jazzed up just a bit. I think it'll come out really nice.

    Heated Seats??
It's that time again... Remember that you can add a pair of heated seats to your new leather for just $120 with the purchase of a kit. These are complete with back/bottom pads as well as all the necessary wiring and switch to finish the install. These will also work with the factory cloth for just $160/shipped for the pair.

    Is ventilation an option?

Katzkin now also offers Degreez. Degreez offers both 3 levels of heating and 3 levels of cooling all in one switch. They will add about $900 to the cost of your kit for a pair. I have done 1 local install in a Tacoma and it was impressive but pricey and will certainly add another 3 hours or so to the install.

Thanks for the response, John. This is what I was getting at. Rereading this thread I did find it on post#80. I had Katzkin vinyl in my '00 Tacoma and it was one of the best things I did to it. A decade of use and it was almost like new when I traded the truck in. How does the cooling element work (i.e. fan or cooling element)? I ask bc I had a Grand Cherokee Overland w perf leather and actual ventilation. (Ass blowers) Hands down the best feature ever invented if you live in a hot climate. Either way, I will be buying this kit soon. Thanks for the info.

I've only installed them with the new Katzkins however they can be used with the cloth as well.

    As needed, and some not.

I installed them with my clothe seats. No problems and great during those cold winter days.

Can anyone in the DFW area recommend a shop that installed their Katzkin's? I have called a few shops and they would not install something I bring in. I would rather use a shop that someone else had a good experience with.

    Thank You
