so im thinking about getting a tattoo.... will be my first... ive thought about it for a while.i was thinking about getting the cross that the 69 eyes use (ankh) for one it means "life forever"...and they are one of my fav. bands. them and HIM.

btw... i know it depends on the person but how bad do they hurt? i can take pain pretty well... just curious.

 

this is my tattoo.

mine was fine, just had a few spots right on my spine that shot sensations of heat down my arms and then other spots tickled

either way, it hurts to some degree

thanks. i got it done at one place and had to drive 4 hours with my back saran wrapped to my in laws. that was painful.

actually now that i think about it, for the most part the pain came from the touch ups at the end of the session.

Pretty.... well how do I say this...

 

heres a question.... what lasts longer (fading) plain black ink or colors? or do they last the same? ive heard people having to go back and get the tat reinked...

 

i think there are a lot of factors, skin type, amount of ink, but i do believe that colors will fade faster then black.

I need an updated picture of mine, but it needs to be touched up. It's 2 years old, but I have dry skin so I think that's making it look faded. The only color I have heard to stay away from is white, as it can turn yellow-ish...maybe someone else can confirm this.

Edit- Mine is color, but next ones will be black/white.

 

this is def. one that i will do... or something similar... but thats farther down the road.
