Tacoma World Secret Santa 2014 Registration!

If we get 110 or more participants... And they each donate just $50 to me, they could ALL get santa the greatest gift he's ever wanted

 

Not expected just extremely grateful if you do. There are a few participants that are really generous. Me, I go somewhere in the middle, last year I gave a pair of customized whiskey glasses! I still need to go cross country and have a drink with him.

 

I only need $30 each. o.o

 

Did I miss it in the first couple posts the limits for this year? I know last year was 20.00 it was too hard finding a quality gift around 20.00 so I said screw it and got mine something that I would have wanted.

It is usually set at $20 so those who are on a tight budget can play along. Some people have sent baked goods along with a small gift, and I would be cool with receiving something like that. Even if I spent two or three times the cap.

There are usually a few people that have had a great year and are feeling a little extra charitable and have the means to send a much pricier gift.

The latter is very rare, so people shouldn't feel obligated to try and match what other people give. We definitely don't want people to feel bad if they can't afford to spend $$$ on a gift for a stranger half way across the country. This is more about the spirit of giving and not what you receive.

But receiving that TW SS gift in the mail can sometimes be better than Christmas morning

 

im only doing this because we dont exchange gifts with immediate family anymore haha. i actually want some suprise haha.

For me, tw ss in April wasn't all that bad either.

 

Shooting for July this year.

 

If you have me this year, I'll drive down there and pick it up... forcefully.
