Stumbled across a sixer of this at the store this afternoon. Never tried it so I gave it a shot. It's a little sweeter than a lot of the IPA's I've tried, but it's good. Good enough that the picture's of the second one, because I drank the first one before I realized I should take a picture and share it on here! :D

Is the candy magic barley water? If so, count me in, and if you give me miller, coors, or bud, I will shoot you dead and steal your car.

I am surprised you have that up there. I know mass gets it but we don't in ct. IMO their IPAs have a bit of an earthy taste. Their dipa, hop crisis is pretty good. Be on the lookout for double dose by ottercreek/lawsons. Fantastic seasonal dipa.

Tectonic Event, an imperial india pale ale brewed by Great Basin. Fantastic brew with heavy hop notes. ABV on tap at the brewery was 7% but they pushed out a batch to bottles that was a little bit higher @ 9%.

Tried a couple of new beers recently, both were really good.

Enjoyed this one too, pretty boozy as the other demons of ale series but that's to be expected at over 16% abv.
