I got a scratch on the body of my driver side door the other day. I was able to feel the scratch with my finger nail when it happened. I buffed the scratch with a orange hex pad and chemical guys v36 followed with v38 and resealed with jetseal and 50/50 carnauba paste. The scratch can only be seen when you look from certain angles. My question is could this be taken out by a professional detailer/body shop if I was able to get it almost not noticeable by hand polishing and no wet sanding? Also could hand polishing even remove a lot of clear coat? It looks more noticeable in the picture than in person.

If you can feel the scratch, probably not. You may be able to get the color back but there is no way of making up the lost material without building it back up. A pro may be able to work some magic with touch up color. I would leave it.

Can't even tell but I usually have great luck with Meguiar's rubbing compound followed by a wax. DA would be overkill for such a small area that can be fixed by a hand job.
