Please dont get this thread closed, it is an important issue, if you want to discuss politics join a political forum, not a truck forum that happens to allow off topic discussions

might be a good idea if everyone would go back and read and understand the rules of conduct outlined for posting. Politics aside, most all other exclusions are violated every day so, why the hardline on just the one issue?

People get way overheated with political discussions.

In rural Minnesota, it's not "Ebola." It's "the bola." Just like "the beetus" instead of diabetes, or "the shytz" instead of diarrhea. Please get it right folks!

Has anyone noticed how topics get jacked up on TW? They're just trying to have an actual conversation with rational participants. Politics doesn't encourage rational participation.

As for Ebola spreading in the US. The first world doesn't run into the same problems the 3rd world does when a situation like this arises. We wouldn't run out of rubber gloves for one, we wouldn't turn terminally ill patients away to further spread the illness, and we wouldn't dump victims in a hole a short distance away from a population of healthy people. Our general population is educated enough to understand what to do and how to react. We're so removed from the situations in the 3rd world we can't begin to understand the problems they face compared to us.

Sooo...for the people in the know whats the best mask that will limit your exposure and is not a full blown gas mask?

Ive got a stockpile of 3N 6001 NIOSH organic vapor filters... and no idea what biologicals it would work for if any.

Seems if it did hit the fan I would want something in hand due to the dense population over here.

Supposedly the N95 mask prevents airborne viruses. Example on Amazon.

2013 population is 1.111 billion people, is 3300 dead in a third world country of over a billion really that alarming?
