I saw a video on how to use plasti dip to somewhat replicate carbon fiber so I did a few interior pieces. Here are 2 pieces in work. Too dark to take pictures of it all now that it's finished

Lol yeah, I put the lightest tint on my fogs from laminx. Kind of a pita. Use a hairdryer, but don't heat too much

I got the precut film. I'm just gonna lightly mist the lens so I can move the film around to where it needs to be and then just squeegee the water out

I tried the non cut film, one came out ok, the other bad because overheated. I bought the precut now and will see if any better, but its definitely gonna need a lil heat trust me. Our fogs are too convex

Dropped my truck off at Firestone to have the LCA's and blower motor changed out since its under warranty and it has to be done by a shop. I get a call 5 hours later saying that the lug nuts on the right tire were cross threaded and 2 of my lug nuts broke while taking them off and that the right tire was still on. Now they say I'll get my truck back tomorrow around 3. I wish warranties were a matter of telling them what was wrong and they send you the parts and give you the option to install them yourself. Luckily a buddy of mine in Korea is letting me borrow his Frontier in the mean time and boy I tell you what, that thing is horrible! I mean, I had a 08 Frontier AC before my Tacoma and it was ok outside of the turning radius and it being an I4. Maybe it's because this thing has over 95K miles on it, but the gas pedal is sensitive, like the truck jumps when you barely hit it and mine didn't do that, the brakes are pretty soft, and the power steering isn't as smooth or easy to turn like on the Tacoma's. Anyways, I just want my truck back! Especially after I did all the work on customizing the interior pieces the night before, haven't even been able to enjoy that yet. Oh, and the shop better be replacing my lug nuts and studs if they're fuct up!

And yeah my lug studs are always getting fuct up by my shop, it's really annoying. I've had them change 2 on the front and need a third!

Figured out how to repine my dome light harness in the overhead console so I finally got everything put back together. Here are the pictures.

Thanks, man.The fluorescent green has always been there. My map and dome lights are purple leds. When on, they give a backlight feel and all the green illuminates

Yeah it does. I want to do interior LED's soon and thought about purple as well but from images I've seen, I don't think they'll give off the same effect and come out like a light purple so I'll probably end up doing green

I have UV (Purple) leds in my gauges and they are not very bright. I had a UV dome light, 20 leds on it. If you want them for a cool effect they are ok for that. If you want to use them to see things in your truck at night, pretty worthless. Might want to go with a brighter color.
