Seems like it. I wonder if those Mini-VCI cables can do the programming.

So they have to be cut and programmed by the end user. What exactly is OP selling besides fob key blanks? You cut your OEM chipped key apart and he puts the chip into his key and that's it or am I missing something?

Thanks to BamTaco for bringing his truck over for testing. His truck is the one in the youtube video.

Steve_E...Should work if your car uses remote GQ43VT20T.

I wonder if it's possible to get the trunk button to unlock a powered Pop-N-Lock on my 2014.

    Now that would be special!

Hey fellow TWer's this is legit. The key works perfectly and I have had zero problems so far. Neneago is solid, you don't have to worry. I would trust him like I trust my brother ( it's a work thing, we have the same occupation).

If you are tired of having that f$&@ing thing in your pocket or you hate the wonderful sound it makes when you are off-roading, bang...bang bang...bang, when it hits the console, you will love this key.

Of course I am the tester and it was free, but I would buy one.

    I would love one.
    Except for one thing

I have a Code Alarm Remote start installed now.
So if the key would work, and start the truck. But do the following..
Unlock would operate Code alarm unlock
Lock would operate Code Alarm lock
Trunk button would operate Code Alarm Remote start..

But I don't that would be possible ?

So what's the end all cost? $50 for the key and chip and how much to have the key cut and programmed to start the truck?

Under $10 for cutting, programming can be DIY it seems, I just had a new fob replaced by the dealer but don't recall the specific price of programming.

Who knows. Prices vary by region, locksmith and dealership. Call around to get prices. You will see that they vary a lot.

A person emailed me a while ago that the dealers wanted $60-100 in his area. He found a locksmith to cut and program his transponder chip key for $20.
