    You have to crank it up. If you look at the index charts and check the standard P rated tire vs the LT tire you will notice that higher pressures are required on road. Pump them up to 40 PSI and go from there. Drive on them for about 20 minutes to build up some heat then check check your tire pressure. Get back to us with the hot and cold tire pressures and your feedback. It's trial and AIR.

    I got slightly better mileage when I switched from BFG KM2 265/75 16 to 255/85 16 BFG KM2.

    I got about the same or slightly better mpg after switching from 265/75R16 Firestone Destination AT to 255/85R16 BFG KM2.

    I lost 2 MPG going from stock Dunlop's to 255/85R16 Cooper ST. Not from 265.

    Anyone know how they ride on the street and highway? My truck is still my daily driver and will be for the foreseeable future.

    They're proud if those tires BTW. Almost $2k for a set of 5...ouch

    According to my ultragauge, I went from 16.4-16.5 with my 265/75/16's to 16.3-16.4 with my 255/85/16's. This was also around the time I got my roof rack, so I attribute some of that loss to the rack as well.

    TL;DR: about the same MPG

    hit around 16k miles on my Toyo's, rotated them for the 4th time, and they got a little louder now and I noticed my mpg's improved...

    maybe they finally broke in? I was running them a little high on the psi and lowered it back down to 42ish, feels and wear pattern looks good again.

    I'm probably rolling around with a lot more weight, which should account for the variance. I was rolling around at 50-55 for a few months :eek:

    None. They fit without rubbing on stock wheels. If you are running non stock wheels you'll have to do a little trimming.

    Lift =/= tire clearance*

    *unless you are a mall crawler, do a body lift or a drop bracket lift.

    This. One of the most aggressive a/t tires I could find in this size. So far the road manners are great (atleast compared to my old mtr's) and waiting to test them in deep snow. Haven't had a chance to test them in deep mud, but they handled pretty good in some muddy roads I travelled today.
