Better eat the popcorn fast :p because the seller appears to be standing up - "should have been more clear on description." Yathink?!?

Pics in the ad were cameraphone quality unfortunately. I initially thought the crack may have happened during shipment as well, but the reply from the seller makes it clear the crack was there before shipment. He's working with UPS to make it possible for me to send them back at no cost. So no ripoff, just aggravation.

We're heading to Boston today for wife's high school reunion. Figures that the skies would finally part! :rain:

Glad he's being straight with you now, that's something positive anyway.

Stay safe driving to Boston. That's one of the few big cities I've been to that I really liked. :)

    Morning all:
Stone chip vs. a crack? YES, should have been a little better description.
At least he's fessing up; hope it comes out OK.

BOSTON , I remember the traffic on 290 & 495, that was close enough! :D

Are you aware there is a big reunion of boat guys taking place this week end in Coronado? Celebrating 50 years of NSW boat guys. Also, are you aware that there is now a Combat Craft Crewman Association?

Yup! I even figured how to eliminate Hartford and Danbury. Just stay on 90 and shoot down the Taconic parkway to 84. I miss hunting Maine, but not the trip.

Welcome to another new guy on the porch, just stay away from my padded rocker, but you can have my share of the beer! BTW-It's your turn to fill the COOLERS. :D

Didn't say I'd move there, but the two weeks I was TDY to Hanscom AFB in 1996 I really enjoyed. Taking in a ballgame at Fenway was awesome. I enjoyed the historical sites too. Maybe I'm crazy. :der:

    Hey Charlie,

I'll second (or third) what Mike said .... good luck on the surgery and get well soon. Heck, I've got questions on the head bolts on the Kohler engine in my Husqvarna .... you need to be around to answer them.

My wife's birthday is Oct 13. She'll be 72, but she looks more like 60 !!

    Take care my friend.

    Tex

    Some really cool shit
I hit 20 years in August. Just waiting for my Letter. I was with SBU 11, and spent a little time at SBU 22. Mostly in Little Creek now when doing my Reserve shit. We are housed in the Group 4 compound there by 22. I started out as QM2 coxswain on a Mini ATC. The PBR was being decommissioned when I got to Eleven, in 1994. Ended up in the PBL, and have several nice runs in the SOC-R. Made E-6 as a QM, but made Chief as an SB (SWCC). Loved it, but it is coming to a close.
