It's TacomaWorld not TacomaFanWorld. I love my truck but I have no loyalty to a brand. When I need a new truck in 4-5 years I will buy whatever is best for me. I like many others use the site for info, not as spank material. :D

    Hi JBBuc,

I'm sorry but with all the talk about Tacoma reliability I find it rather sad that my 07 Tacoma has yet another recall. That the 2nd gens frames are no better than gen I. How many years in production does it take Toyota to get the basics right. We've been making leaf springs and frames and been using salt on the roads for how many years and you find a software/air bag glitch a major faux pas.

Sorry just had to jab. They are just vehicles made by humans.

Not like the Tacoma is immune to recalls. It's had plenty and is still getting new ones even though the current version has been in production since 2005.

Parts suppliers will always be the bane of auto manufacturers and it sounds like it's probably parts related and not assembly/production related. There's only so much you can do to control supplier quality. Toyota is not immune to this either. Many of their recalls are part supplier related...not design/engineering/assembly issues.

The sun will rise tomorrow, GM will fix the problem and not a F**K will be given by the rest of the world.
