How much does that cost? And also, I heard that for HDR, you must take 3 different pictures, 1 overexposed, 1 normal, and 1 underexposed. Do you have to do this with this program as well?

I got it from a torrent. If you have an SLR camera, you can take the 3 exposures in raw mode from it. I dont have an SLR so I use the photamatix pro program to generate the 3 images. It's pretty easy to use and you can get varied results from adjusting the settings. Almost cartoonish like my first pic to very clear and precise like pic 5.

I have a Nikon D60 so it is a SLR. I haven't really experimented with the RAW function yet, but I need too. So what you've done is take 1 picture and the program does it for you?

I just have a cheapo Sony cybershot 7.2 pixel

You take 1 picture from your folder or wherever and copy is 2 more times, so you have 3 total pics on your desktop.

Then you open up the program (photomatix pro) and click "generate HDR image"

click "browse" and select your 3 pics that you saved on your desktop and click "ok".
Now it should show all 3 of your pics and this is where you choose your EV spacing.
I generally use "2" but you can mess around with others.
Now it will make your pics at 2,0,-2. Click "ok"

Check "align source images" and "by matching features". Here it will align all 3 pics. Now the image that will show is kinda dark and not the finished result.
    Click "tone mapping"
Here is your final result. You can use the settings on the left to get your desired effect. I generally just leave mine unless I have a pic that is bad to start out with then I will mess with the gamma and stuff. strength, color and luminocity. If you mess with these settings it takes a few seconds for the pic to change. I think it says "processing" or something.

From here just click "process" and it will take a minute to process your pic. This will be the final result. Just click "file" at the top and "save as" and your set to go !!

    Enjoy peeps !

Here is one I took at myrtle beach bike show last year. Keep in mind that my camera is not all that great but this picture really turned out nice with all the colors popping out and the image clarity. My good friend Cassie cant decide which bike she likes best. lol

you know that a proper hdr has to be done with 3 different pics right?

set your camera to AEB (auto exposure bracketing) and it'll take 3 pics and whatever shutter you set it at, these look like they are from one shot that's been manipulated.

    sweet pics none the less
