Im not interested in one, i just priced one on the site with the exact options that mine had, and it was 3600 more than the MSRP (not what i actually paid) on my tacoma. So by the time i get into the dealer fees and doc fees and all that junk, it would be essentially almost 5000 more than my tacoma, at msrp was.

No thanks, ill just keep my tacoma

 

these trucks are bound to suck in some areas and be good in others. what is up with the tight wheel wells gm is doing? big tires, even moderately upsized with a mid lift and mega chop chop needed. fawk that. i was shocked at the price on these things. i got out of my tacoma reg cab that was beat to hell and got into a full size ford, it is not my cup of tea for wheeling, so thought why not look to these.. f that junk! time to trade my ford for another tacoma, losing that 200hp i liked so much seems valid imo after a while, the ford is big in trails and has less clearance with a lift, but is oh so much nicer on the road. no reg cab is boo, just like the supposed end of our taco reg cab, n-a is so very sad when it comes to availability.

 

people will never look.... if they had a camera to get over on the interstate people would stop looking over too... I think the backup camera will cause crashes to be honest.

 

Lol , how do you think the back up camera will cause crashes ?

 

With out it people will forget how and where to look when backing up. Much like you have probably forgotten how to survive in the forest since we brought you into our civilized society.

 

BS , it doesn't replace the rear view mirror , it is just another tool

 

I love the back up camera. Glad I went for it.

 

My wife spent a month only using the camera to back out of our driveway.
Trust me, it will cause accidents.
My wife is the norm in todays society.

 

Mine never uses it. So..

 

Much like how people don't know how to use manual maps and only rely on gps.

I wonder if this arguement occured when they came out with rear view mirrors on consumer vehicles, "NOW NO ONE WILL SHOULDER CHECK, OMFG."

People will learn and adapt to the new technology. Once they do our vehicles will be safer with it than without it, especially trucks. How many kids get run over by there own parents because they are under the eye level of the tail gate? Too many I'm guessing. Even if saves just one kid it's worth you're wife dinging someones civic at the mall parking lot.

The Chevrolet dealer here in Ft Worth has one on his lot.
The web site has it already discounted $1000.

 

I actually am fond of the looks. As far as drivability have not had a chance to drive one.

Edit, am a fan of the fenders, lack of plastic.
