    The saying goes - Chevy drivers will drive Chevy or GMC. GMC drivers won't drive Chevy's.
    I am a fan of the GMC line myself.

    Note, I realize this may spur the "they come off the same line" conversation for some. Don't care.

    Those are the same exact times I use mine. Makes hitching a trailer cake and takes the guesswork of trying to tell where the back of the truck ends. I tend to always have much more space behind the truck than I think I do.

    When we used to buy a few GM's at work we never had a problem getting the same price on a GMC as a Chevy. I've always preferred the look of the GMC version of there trucks. I was pretty shocked when GM discontinued Pontiac and Saturn that GMC didn't get axed as well. It still makes zero sense to me to sell two pickup lines unless you have major differences between the two. Even Ford ceased sales of the Lincoln trucks, other than in Mexico where they gotta have the bling, because it reflected poorly on the high end F150 lines.

    I know lots of Chevy people that won't touch a GMC because they think the GMC isn't "tough enough" :jerkoff:.

    Has anyone considered that if the Colorado flops in sales, especially in its first year, that it could spell the end of the mid sized truck? I don't think nissan or toyota will be nearly as eager to innovate if GM enters the market with an updated modern truck and falls right on there face. If that happens I could see toyota letting the next generation of tacoma (since a lot of signs are pointing to a 3rd generation already in the later stages of development) wither on the vine for even longer than the 2nd gen with maybe some CAFE compliant updates.

    I never followed the Colorado before the 2015 hype.
    Was it a good truck?
    Did it sell any decent #s?
    I never thought it looked that good and I did not care for the 5 cylinder motor.
    Did not have a reason not to like the motor, just different.....

    I suspect Toyota and Nissan are drooling over the idea of a failed Colorado from a market standpoint. As far as future plans of their plans, I'm not guessing.

    I'm sure nissan is thinking toyota is bringing a new truck and vise versa.

    Watch honda bring a mini ridge line to the game or god forbid subaru try again with a baja 2.0

    One of my customers owns a couple of Ford dealerships and has been told by multiple executives that there will be no North American Ranger for the foreseeable future. Take that as you will. As for the new ridgeline I still have doubts it'll have a 4 wheel drive system similar to the Colorado or the Tacoma. I see Honda releasing a more "American" truck like Toyota did with the T100 vs Tundra but still not "truck" enough to please the American market.

    Of course Toyota and Nissan want GM to fail. I think it's better for the class though if GM eats into both the Frontiers and Tacoma's sales. Otherwise I don't think we will see that much improvement from toyota or nissan in there next generation of mid sized trucks.
