I wish every game was played at night. Something about sports in general is so much better at night

As long as I'm living here you've got a free place to stay. Tickets should be getting cheap with the way we're playing

    34-29 your place at night.

Edit: just a heads up, I'm using this as a retort for the foreseeable future.

I love the 2:30 games. I can pass out at 8 and bypass the terrible hangover I'd get with a night game and staying up til 11.

Mizzou, Auburn, and GT are the games I'm worried about. Mizzou had a flop against Indiana, but other than that, they haven't been half bad.

Just thinking about the Auburn game makes my stomach hurt lol. I think either Ole Miss or Mississippi State will beat them, bringing them down in the rankings before we play them, but they'll still be hard to stop.

I don't even know where to begin with GT; I've never seen such a crappy team get so lucky, week after week. What's worse is that they play NO ONE until Georgia in November, so they're going to just creep up the rankings. Shit pisses me off.

Damn that. I've gone to a few GA games that were at 12 and it's crazy. It's hard to start pounding beers at 8am lol. I like anything after 4pm.

We've done night games. We've done afternoon games. But we killed a&m during an 11 am kickoff. I'm not against early games if that is the result.

I'm forced to take back all I said about Ole Miss this year. They deserve the #3 ranking they earned.

I'm glad Bama only dropped to #7... Plenty of time to get back up. Only problem: We now need Ole Miss to lose twice in the SEC to have a chance to go back to ATL. They have Miss State (who owns them) and auburn on their schedule, so maybe it'll happen. Not to mention they're playing TAMU this week, so they could have a let down after such an emotional win over Alabama.

It remains true that Ole Miss has never represented the West in the SECC, so I won't believe they can do it until I see it. (At least, I HOPE they can't do it this year, anyway.)

You would also need to beat Auburn and us along with Ole Miss losing. The West is incredibly deep this year.

bama will have to win out to get in the playoffs now, and that will only work if auburn wins up until november 29th. if we can beat a number 1 or 2 aurburn that will catapult us to a top 4 rank (much like auburn did last year after losing about the same time of the year). this will of course not happen since we have to play state. IMHO the winner of the aurbun/state game will be number one going into the play offs and the loser will most likely be the #3 or so. and will most likely result in a rematch as a national championship, after each team hands notre dame and baylor? there tails.

Oh yeah... We have to win out (or need even more help)... and I'm certainly not assuming that. I just didn't want to get into every little thing that has to go right. Basically, we need to not lose and have Ole Miss lose twice. I'll actually have to pull for auburn at least once this year.

We have to win out, yes, but I don't think auburn has to win out to the Iron Bowl. If we win out, we're either SEC Champs or we're second in the West behind Ole Miss. We would have beaten auburn (currently #2) and Miss State (currently #3). Even if they had another loss before us, that would move us from 7th up to at least 5th. If we're a 1-loss SEC Champ and sitting at #5, I can't imagine that we don't get in the 4-team playoff. If we're a 1-loss team that doesn't even make it to ATL, then I think we're probably screwed.

There is no way in hell the committee would put two SEC teams on opposite sides of the 4-team bracket. If two teams from any conference make the playoffs, they'll have to play each other and the winner will play in the big game.
