Hi all. I'm new to the forums and currently in search of a 2015 4x4 Tacoma TRD Sport. Oddly, it's difficult to find as all dealerships don't carry this option. Does anyone here (Northern California) own a Tacoma 4x4 TRD Sport Long Bed and if so did you have to look outside of our region to get one? Is this known to be a rare package? Thanks.

Not a rare pkg, just all the Tacoma's are in high demand and dealerships can't keep them in stock. Add to that the MY change, and you have a harder find on your hands. So, a dealer will tell you what he wants you to hear. You can get it in all the configurations, they are just lazy. PM me and I'll tell you who to contact if you want to pay money for a truck that you want.

Blackout, nice ride! I also want one in black. I noticed you aren't from Northern California and that goes for Sgt as well. I'm now beginning to think these aren't common where I live. I will try to see if I can special order one, but guessing there's a hefty price that comes with such a request.

Not at all. Work out the numbers and then give the deposit to the dealer. I do that all the time.

Basically, a person comes in, we don't have their car. We do a locate, dealer swap and it's all good. If there isn't the exact vehicle out there, we go to the allocation sheet and you get your vehicle when it arrives. Time varies because you may go to the dealership after they have made their allocation request for the following month, or you could come in a few weeks/days before they make it.

If yo do go this route, don't be a douche and call the dealership every day, asking to see your car. Just be patient and wait as there are several tings that are out of our hands when it comes to vehicles being delivered to the dealership.

But as far as what is being sold/delivered to your area/region, that can be questionable, but this is a common truck and should be available in your area.

I would get on line and start shopping for a dealership that will do you right in your area.

If you want to travel, I can get you info. Do you want to drive north or south?

No up charge, but not as big of a discount sometimes. But that dependso nthe dealership. If you are a Costco/USAA member, then you should get the same price as long as the car is in their dealer stock. May have to pay $100 more if it is a dealer trade.
