I'll second that. Have one on my 6 ft bed and it's great! Comes off completely in seconds.

    Nice looking truck!

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Congrats ViJay on the new ride! I was looking at one of those before I bought my '14 TRD OR. Talked to my dealers and no one was willing to give any info or really wanting to push that sale. I of course didn't go through all the trouble you did 30-35 dealers? Props on determination and conviction! Keep us posted as we all want to know how that bad boy rides and holds up over time.

    Congrats Bro......

I wanted same truck in white but found nothing available particularly in a 6-speed

Also knowing that no matter how cool I would have modify it some.....so cost ratio would be gone

So I bought a 6-spd sport and modified it.

Enjoy the new rig. Great find

I believe the letter removal has been covered on here already.

I agree with white letters inside. but you should have had the dealership do that for you before you left the dealership.

Floor mats are the same on the 2nd Gen Tacoma's. Why not get the stock rubbers and spend money on other mods, like intake and exhaust.

The dealer just didn't want to order the tow package from the factory(many dealers are scared of higher priced specialty vehicles, and this adds more money to the MSRP.), it adds more than just a tow hitch, and is definitely worth the money, especially if you plan on wheeling, because of the oil cooler and upgraded alternator. It also ups the amount of weight you can actually tow. So when you do tow be sure to look at the chart that covers the vehicle WITH OUT the factory tow package.

As for the toneau covers, I have a write up on my Undercover Flex on here. It is better than the bakflip because when it is up it does not rest on the cab. Other than that, they are basically the same. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/product-reviews/345740-undercover-flex-review.html

Great truck btw. I could not wait, and I like the DCLB better, plus the ride of the Sport over the PRO/TX Pro(too rough/stiff).

    Thanks team!
Update: First things first, I "had" to install a cow bell. My Jeep has one and Taco gets one too. I will think of better way to mount it later this week, but for now, this is what I have. In my defense: "its blacked it out too"

My first _take_ to remove 4X4 white letters has turned out "decent". I say this because after I washed it clean, the white reminiscent is still seen on closer inspection. I will go another round on this tomorrow.

"Orange" IS not my favorite color. But some how I ended up with Orange for the second time.

Thanks, the oil pan only applies to Automatic trans. I will only miss out on the alternator however...but its too late now.
How much does undercover-flex cost? Do they color match?
Yes, the ride is pretty stiff...

I remember reading about a slight change in the weathertech floormats for 2014... Not sure what.

V6 Tow Package: 26 Class-IV towing receiver hitch, transmission (automatic transmission only) cooler, engine oil cooler, 130-amp alternator, heavy-duty battery, 7-pin connector with converter and Trailer-Sway Control (TSC) 25 [TO]

I'm a Toyota salesman, and been doing it since 2002. I know my stuff...Way more than just a tranny oil cooler. Engine oil cooler and TSC are a definite plus, and worth the money.

The Flex only comes in black. You could paint it, but it is already textured, so it would need several coats. IO have had a couple of customers paint theirs, and they come out looking fine. I have not seen them after a few years of use, so I don 't know how the paint holds up. Look at the pictures on the thread I started.

Unless you're swimming in mud and tend to keep your cab dirty for a long period of time I don't see the necessity of the WT liners. The stock All Weather mats work fine for all seasons.
