My first house was 2600 sq ft and was 1/3 the price.. in a nice neighborhood at that.

 

Two bars in the same complex shut down this last month. One paid about 15 grand a month for rent. And the smaller bar paid about 8 grand. Both bars sucked, that's why they never made money. The pizza joint is the is pretty good with management.

 

It depends. If this trend continues then that 600K is going to be 1.5 mill in ~5-7 years.
If it is affordable for someone to spend 600K and they have a plan worked out knowing that the market will continue to trend upwards then it is more an investment. The 'burbs won't increase that much...unless that 'burb is located inside the loop. Shit even Acres Homes is trending upwards now lol.

well, it got real today. first day of work in Maryland. was nice and warm when i was here last week to take the boat out. walked out the door thismorning and turned right around to get a hjacket......happy to be here, but missing texas already.
