Hey what's up 5 lugger guys. I'm new to this site and just bought my first Tacoma and I love it. I'm glad I found this thread for 5luggers. Quick question, I'm looking to upgrade my wheel and tires and I've been having trouble finding decent aftermarket wheels. Anyone have any suggestions on a good site to check out. Also will the Jeep 5 lug wheels work? I see the lug spacing is the same but not sure about the center bore or offset.

Thanks for replying, Yea i've noticed that some of the jeep wheels have the same lug pattern (5x4.5) but i've read on some other threads on this site that the center bore is different(too wide of a hole or not wide enough) What are your thoughts on that?

I've been making a complete ass of myself on TW trying to find stuff for my truck thus far... Sorry, to those who have been helpful. I'll try to keep it very simple(for me).

Who/where are you guys getting your metal bumpers from? Does anyone have a winch mounted on theirs? And, has anyone found a skid plate that bolts on? I know what I want to do, but need a little direction as to where you guys are finding these things. Also, who's doing the work? Thank you, any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated!:D

    My aim:
    Lift 3in. front
    AAL rear
    Bilstein 5100s
    16x8 SCS wheels on 31s
    Heavy Duty front bumper w/winch
    Front Skid
    Building wood armrest
    List so far...

you want the long. they ride better than the short and is less harsh on your spring pack

biggest issue is the bumper. your truck will hate you if you put 33s just a heads up

Why do you say that and more than likely ill have an aftermarket bumper so they won't rub against that

how much clearance do you have with 33s on that setup? I'm wondering if i could get away with maybe 7-8 inches total

Jumping to that big of tires your truck is going to feel like a slug trying to turn them. You have to regear if you want it to be even somewhat drivable.

On my 98 5 lug even 31s were pretty bad, not unbearable with the manual trans but it was slow for sure

Alright, I was planning on going to 4.11 gears. Sluggish doesn't bother me I expected it to happen its a 4 cylinder but I just want to make sure I cover every angle and don't run the risk of busting any suspension components because of making a stupid mistake
