There are about 250 troops on the ground now. They will be setting up 17 mobile field labs for testing US personnel (and natives). The total will reach at least 3000 to support logistics and protection of US assets.

I could tell you but I don't feel like outing my source in case she was not supposed to say anything.

Kinda like when we had Blackhawks giving us a air show at a meet we didn't post pics until we could edit their numbers off their rigs.

Sorry if common sense makes people wonder...

If the video or pics ever got out unedited a couple crews would of been screeewed big time.

I was actually amazed they had the stones to give us a show because a couple months prior someone had literally lit up a middle school with tracers

Got my bug out bag ready... Filled the Taco up with gas. Heading strait to the marina and jumping on a boat and heading North if it starts remotely getting bad.

I'm pretty much kidding here but somethings kinda bugging me, Ebola is nothing new, theres talk about super strains that we have no cure for, which strikes me as funny seeing how we didn't/don't have a cure for any strain of ebola except that experimental shit thats recently been used, & it's about 50/50 chance it'll work...

Just seems somethings askew with the whole thing...

Ok to keep this as minimal as can be.. let me share something with you.. IF you are freaking about Ebola.. STOP! You are the reason people freak out and mass hysteria ensues... Lets go through a list...

Did Someone Cough or sneeze on you that HAS Ebola
    Did you touch their poop?
Did you let them pee on you?
Did you get THEIR blood in YOUR mouth or in an open wound..

None of the above.. then you dont have it. It is not airborne. The media has blown this up like they do everything. (remember the gas crisis.. if everyone got gas like normal people there was plenty to go around)

Heres how you can keep yourself and others safe...

WASH YOUR DAMN HANDS AND KEEP YOUR FREAKING FINGERS OUT OF YOUR MOUTH.
COVER YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU SNEEZE OR COUGH!

Not everyone dies from this disease like the media has made people to believe. Yes it is deadly, mostly it is people that dont have their symptoms treated. No there is not a cure yet.. but there has never been a cure.. since 1976 when it was discovered and named. Do you know how to lower a fever? Wanna know why 3rd world country's are dying from this? Lets think, Dirty water, dirty food, dirty clothes, not a lot of access to meds that are needed to treat symptoms... Currently there are 2 Vaccines being tested but not proved or approved by FDA or CDC. Humans are not infectious until symptoms are shown. (2-21 days). Just because you are around someone that has it doesnt mean you are going to get it.

Wanna know what they are telling us as health providers? If pt has Signs or symptoms..

    Wear Gloves, and goggles
    Put mask on PT.
Put them into a room by themselves with a bathroom when received at hospital.

Hmm sounds like most pts that have FLU...

Thats it. This protects us and everyone around...

Still super Worried. Go to Ebay or Amazon. Get a N-95 Mask, Sealed Goggles, And latex gloves. If you have any open sores or wounds wear a Full Gown.. You are now fully covered and protected.

Just a bunch of old crap
    Not true.

Theoretical: If someone like the Dallas gentleman thinks he just has a cold or flu, and travels or goes into a public place and sneezes on his hand and then opens his door with that hand, and then you follow him seconds later and use the same doorknob, you're at risk. If he pees on the floor of a public restroom and has this disease, and you use the stall shortly afterwards, and then you somehow have to handle your shoe shortly after that, you're at risk. I can go on and on all day about this, and I thank "god" that this isn't an airborne virus.

But, it's an RNA virus and it mutates EVERY time it reproduces. That's Russian Roulette for it eventually having a chance to mutate to an airborne strain.

It's the unknown variable that is still the issue, such as someone traveling and lying about possible exposure that puts whole other regions at risk. It's no different than catching a cold or flu by contact contraction, and yes we are lucky that we have good healthcare and we are a developed nation, but it's not a disease I want to deal with in my household regardless.

This inconsiderate world we live in, even here in the good ole USA, doesn't follow even simple hygiene protocols when sick with ANYTHING. People walk around grocery stores and just sneeze and cough INTO THE OPEN AIR! They never wash hands, nor do they just lay low when sick. I was in the office last week for a training exercise (normally I work remote) and 3 people in a classroom of 12 were packed in a small training room with me and they were carrying boxes of Kleenex. They were sneezing and coughing and had the look of death on their face. They had no business being at the office that day, and guess what... almost everyone in that training room was sick by the end of the week.

Inconsiderate people spread disease of all types. That's what scares me. Am I panicked? No. I'm a prepper, so I can shut down my house and isolate my family from the world for a long time.
